SUMMER SLEEP

Seven-year-old Courtney Carter enjoys riding shotgun with her dad, Joel Carter, but says it often puts her to sleep. As an infant, if Courtney had trouble sleeping at night, Joel would often take her for a tractor ride to lull her to sleep. Joel is a fourth-generation farmer who farms approximately 2000 acres in south Georgia.
